The PCM Signal Monitor is an instrument for in-service monitoring of the two
PCM links forming a first order PCM communication system. The instrument is used
for testing CCITT recommended 30/31-channel PCM systems at various levels of the
exchange hierarc.
Der PCM Signalmonitor dient der überwachung der beiden PCM Verbindungen
eines PCM Systems erster Ordnung. Es ist zum Test von 30/31- Kanal PCM Systemen
nach CCIT ausgelegt. Verschiedene Ebenen mit unterschiedlichen Kodes werden
untersucht. Das Ger?t besitzt zwei identische Eing?nge zur überwachung und
Messung der relevanten Parameter. Die Bit- Rate betr?gt nach CCIT G.703 2048
kbit/s 100ppm. Zur akustischen überwachung des Telephonkanals ist ein
Lautsprecher eingebaut.

level * analog output of the telephone channel signal * audible output of the
telephone channel signal Various LEDs monitor conditions and detect errors Bit
rate of the input channel is: 2048 kbits/s 100 ppm; built- in speaker for
supervising the telephon channel.
